COLUMBUS, Ohio – Redshirt freshman Donovan Robertson earned First Team All-America honors with a seventh-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles Saturday evening at the 2014 NCAA Indoor Championships in Albuquerque, N.M.

Robertson, a native of Berea, Ohio, crossed the finish line in a time of 7.69 seconds, .12 seconds behind national champion Omar McLeod of Arkansas.

Robertson concludes his first indoor season with the Buckeyes as the Ohio State school-record holder in the 60-meter hurdles (7.65 seconds), an All-Big Ten selection and Big Ten runner-up, and the first All-American in the 60-meter hurdles for the Buckeyes since Joel Brown in 2003.

Meanwhile, the Ohio State 4×400-meter relay team earned Second Team All-America honors. Seniors Jordan Rispress and Javon Walker, sophomore Champ Page, and freshman Lamar Bruton combined for a ninth-place time of 3:10.69. LSU won the title in 3:04.10.

Junior Timothy Faust earned Second Team All-America honors Friday with a 15th-place finish in the 200-meter dash.

As a team, the Buckeyes closed the meet with two points, finishing in a seven-way tie for 56th. Oregon won the national title with 62 points.

OSU opens the outdoor season March 28 at the Vanderbilt Black & Gold Invitational in Nashville, Tenn.
