COLUMBUS, Ohio – Head coach Greg Beals and the Ohio State baseball coaching staff will offer four weeks of summer baseball camp opportunities this year starting the week of June 20-24. The Buckeye Youth Summer Academy is open for boys ages 6 through 12 and will teach valuable life skills in addition to providing skilled and professional baseball instruction.

  • June 20-24
  • June 27-July 1
  • July 11-15
  • July 18-22

Activities and instruction will run from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. daily. Campers will learn the skills of hitting, base running, pitching, fielding, bunting and strength training in addition to position-specific training. Afternoons will be spent playing games and learning through live game situations.

Each day will also feature a class on “what it means to be a Buckeye.” Through games, tours and team-building skills individuals will learn the qualities of responsibility, respect, leadership, sportsmanship and teamwork that Buckeyes possess.

Fun activities such as dodge ball, kick ball, a home run derby and slip-and-slide will also be a part of each day.
