COLUMBUS, Ohio – Registration is open for two College ID camps, a youth skill development camp and technical development lessons to be hosted by the Ohio State men’s soccer team. The Buckeyes will hold two college ID camps Feb. 3-4 and Feb. 10-11 in Columbus. In addition, the Scarlet and Gray will host a youth skill development camp Feb. 12, while a technical development program will be on Monday evenings Feb. 13- April 17 (10 sessions).
Session I of the College ID camps is open to any and all boys currently in grades 9-10. Session 2 of each College ID camps is open to any and all boys currently in grades 11 and up. The camp will offer each camper an opportunity to be exposed to the technical, tactical and physical demands of Division I College Soccer through exercises organized and executed by The Ohio State University Men’s Soccer Coaching Staff.
The youth development camps are for players in grades 5-8 and will give campers the opportunity to learn the basic skills under the direction of Ohio State coaching staff and players.
The technical development program is open to any and all boys 9-12. Players will have the opportunity to learn and perfect all of the basic skills through training that will supplement their club training.
