#ProBuck Update


Matt Tomkins, who represented Canada at the 2022 Olympic Games, starting three games (2-1-0), with a 1.01 goals-against average and .963 save percentage, will take part in the IIHF World Championship in Finland this month.

He played for Frölunda HC in the Swedish Hockey League in 2021-22, with a 2.46 goals-against average and .908 save percentage in 33 regular season games, along with a 2.70 goals-against average and .885 save percentage in eight playoff contests.

Andrew Schembri and Regensburg Eisbären won the Oberliga championship, earning a promotion to DEL2.

Max McCormick has re-signed with the Seattle Kraken. He appeared in 10 games with the Kraken this season and logged 13 goals and 16 assists in 46 games with AHL-affiliate Charlotte.

Tommy Nappier posted a shutout in his first AHL playoff start, making 23 saves for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. He backstopped the Penguins to a game three overtime win Monday night, with a career-high 34 saves, to send the squad to the next round.

Defenseman Matt Bartkowski scored for the Penguins in the game three victory.

Dakota Joshua made his Stanley Cup playoff debut with St. Louis Friday.

The Toledo Walleye, with #ProBucks John Albert, Gordi Myer and Quinn Preston on the roster, are up 2-0 in their Central Division Finals series vs. Wheeling, with game three Tuesday.

Albert has nine points in nine postseason games (5g, 4a), Myer has a goal and an assist in nine appearances and Preston has skated in five postseason contests.
