Preseason Prognostication at High Level for Defending Champions

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University men’s volleyball program’s national title defense will begin with an additional bullseye, selected as the top-ranked team in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Preseason Poll. The Buckeyes received 23 of 24 first-place votes. In addition, three Buckeyes were voted to the Off the Block Preseason All-America Teams.

Miles Johnson and Nicolas Szerszen were both chosen as First Team Preseason All-Americans by Off the Block’s 26-member voting committee comprised of head coaches and volleyball reporters from around the country. Christy Blough garnered Second Team honors while Gabriel Domecus and Blake Leeson each received votes on two or more ballots.
