Thad Matta, Ohio State head coach
On his thoughts on Aaron Craft’s record-setting performance
“When you think about all the great players that have played at this university, to be a leader in steals and assists tells you about the type of basketball player he really is. I’m happy to have him on our team.”

On Marc Loving’s performance vs. NDSU
“He plays with a lot of energy and that to me is what sets apart. He asks questions and wants to be coached and wants to learn. I think he has a pretty good feel of what he needs to do when he comes in the game and understands his position. I’m happy at the level he is playing at right now.”

Saul Phillips, North Dakota State head coach
On Ohio State’s quick start offensively
“When you are playing the second-ranked team in the country, who should be ranked No. 1, they will knock down 3-pointers and will be on an uphill climb the entire game. Our contests on the shots were pretty good. ”

On holding Ohio State to four steals
“The only chance I knew we had against stopping Ohio State was to make sure we took care of the ball. I was proud of the way we played. It is generally a strength of ours, but it was hard to guard against Ohio State in the half court.”
