Ohio State Coach Beth Burns
“You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take. We were trying to get Courtney (Coleman) and DiDi (Reynolds) looks and we just got very tentative. I thought we had good shot options that we just weren’t taking.

“Competition is about aggression. The aggressive team won the game and we just could not get five people to play together aggressively and consistently.

“While Sue (Mangina) was emptying her bench toward the end of the game, with our injuries, we were playing our bench. We were in a tough situation. That’s what makes it that much harder.

“With this kind of stretch you have so many games in so many days. We need practice but we have to rest and get better. We have no time to feel bad. We’ve got to turnaround and be able to try and grab a home game Monday night (vs. Eastern Michigan) before hosting our tournament next weekend.”
