Recap| Box Score| Notes

Ohio State head coach Jim O’Brien
“It is not supposed to be this hard, but we needed it. We had guys in different positions and I was happy with our effort. The game got crazy in the last 10 minutes but I thought we played well in the first half. Seton Hall is a good team and this was a good game. We should be thrilled to win and it was good for us to score that many points.”

On Brent Darby fouling out:
“We played scattery (after Darby fouled out). I thought about taking him out with four (fouls) but we have talked about it and he does a very good job of playing with four. Tonight he just made a mistake.”

On Brandon Fuss-Cheatham:
“Think about what it would have been like had Fuss-Cheatham not come back and Brent fouling out with five minutes to go. He gave us a chance to rest Brent and he is a vital part of our schemes.”

Junior center Velimir Radinovic
“When Terence went down before the game, (Coach O’Brien) told me I had to step up. I think the crowd really helped us tonight. Coming off a tough loss, it seemed as if they felt we needed a little encouragement.”

Senior guard Sean Connolly
“This was a huge win for us. To come out after a tough game against Pittsburgh and step up like we did, says a lot about our team. We don’t have a lot of superstars on our team, so we need everyone to step up in big games. Tonight’s game was very physical. Coach (O’Brien) was very happy with our performance.” Junior forward Zach Williams
“This game was definitely very physical. Vel’s performance down low in the post gave us a big boost tonight without Terence. We needed to get a big win coming off a loss against Pittsburgh. This win has certainly given us some confidence for the Big Ten season.”

Seton Hall head coach Louis Orr
On the game:
“We knew coming in this was going to be a tough game. Both teams were coming off tough losses. This was a physical game and both teams struggled a bit in the first half. We just had trouble putting the ball in the basket in the first half and could not make that up in the second half.”

On the play sophomore guard Andre Barrett:
“We wanted to come in and contain Brent Darby and I think Andre Barrett did an outstanding job defensively. It was one of Andre’s best defensive efforts of his career. He showed that he is a true team leader tonight.”

On the play of the big me:
“The big guys played well for Ohio State tonight. We are a little undersized underneath and we let them control the boards in the first half. We are young on the front line as well and we had trouble after Kelly Whitney picked up his second foul in the first half.”
