Debra Clark, Florida A&M head coach
Opening statement
“This game gave us a lot of experience because this is the first time we’ve faced a Big Ten school since I have been here. It was a tough job playing against Ohio State, but it was a good test and I thought we had a good shot at winning the game. We are a veteran bunch and I thought we kept our poise throughout the game. Ohio State is just a young and talented team.”

On Ohio State freshman Jessica Davenport
“She is tough. Our centers are 6-2, so they are the biggest in our league. But Jessica being 6-5 and with her skill and ability, she created a lot of problems for us. She is an overall good player.”

On the second half effort
“In the first half we were tense and tight and not playing the game we are capable of playing. In the second we were much more loose and we were making our shots.”

On Florida A&M’s seven 3-pointers in the second half
“We knew we needed to take the outside shot. We wanted to run the inside-out attack because it is tough going inside against Ohio State.”
