COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s pistol team completed an undefeated season by winning the NRA Intercollegiate National Championship Thursday at Ft. Benning, Ga. The Buckeyes defeated the U.S. Naval Academy, 2,642 to 2,633. Ohio State finished first in both the air and sport pistol competitions to capture the title. This is OSU’s fourth title in the last 10 years winning the championship in 2005, 2004 and 2000.


In the open competition, Ohio State finished seventh in free pistol and second in standard pistol. They compete Friday in the air pistol event.
