COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s gymnastics program has added a gymnast to strengthen the team for the 2020 season, head coach Meredith Paulicivic announced on Friday. Ella Hodges has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete and study at the Ohio State University.

Hodges is from Winchester, Mass., and trains at Brestyan’s Gymnastics. She is a three-time Junior Olympic National qualifier and the 2018 JO silver medalist on balance beam. Hodges also claimed a silver medal in the all-around at regionals in 2018 after winning the all-around regional title in 2016 and 2017.
Paulicivic on Hodges: “I’m excited to have Ella join our team! She is an awesome beam worker and has talent to contribute on other events as well. She is very bright and witty and is going to bring some fun and spunk to our workouts!”
Hodges joins Dublin, Ohio, product Raina Malas and Pittsburgh, Pa., native Zoe Schweitzer in the 2020 incoming class. Read about the previous signees here.
