COLUMBUS, Ohio — Mark Osiecki, who was named the head coach of the Ohio State men’s hockey program April 24, met with the media Tuesday afternoon. Osiecki spent the last six years on the staff of Wisconsin, the 2006 NCAA champion and 2010 NCAA runner-up, and also has served as the head coach and general manager of the Green Bay Gamblers in the United States Hockey League. A winner on every level, Osiecki has been a part of NCAA (both as a player and coach), junior hockey, international and professional championship teams.
