COLUMBUS, Ohio – Steve Rohlik, Ohio State men’s hockey coach, announced sophomore goaltender Collin Olson has elected to leave the program.

“Collin feels he hasn’t played the number of games he’s needed over the last few years,” Rohlik said. “He has decided leaving our program to find somewhere he will play more games will be best for his future. He is a good kid and a good student and we wish him nothing but the best.”

Olson, from Apple Valley, Minn., played in 11 games at Ohio State, starting nine. He was 2-4-1 in his career, with a 3.70 goals-against average and .885 save percentage. He started two games in 2013-14.
