Ohio State Rifle competed in a pair of matches against TCU and Air Force over the weekend in Fort Worth.
On Saturday, the Buckeyes posted a score of 2,292 in smallbore led by junior Rhiann Travis who posted a score of 578. She was followed by freshman Ariel Hall who fired a 574, junior Jacob Buchanan (571), sophomore Elizabeth Dutton (569), and senior Bailey Urbach (566). Firing as individuals freshman Annabelle Stanec fired a season best 574 while freshman Anna Tomb (566) and senior Michael Steinel (564) rounded out individual scoring.
In air rifle, Ohio State fired a team score of 2357 led by Jacob Buchanan and Rhiann Travis who posted scores of 592 and 591 respectively. They were followed by a pair of 587s from Elizabeth Dutton and Anna Tomb while Annabelle Stanec rounded out team scoring with a 584. Firing as individuals Ariel Hall led the way with a score of 586. She was followed by Michael Steinel (584) and Bailey Urbach (559) who rounded out individual scoring.
Ohio State’s smallbore team score on Sunday was 2281 and Elizabeth Dutton and Annabelle Stanec led the way with a pair of 573s. They were followed by Ariel Hall (571), Jacob Buchanan (564) and Jacob Buchanan (564) who rounded out team scoring. Michael Steinel led the way for the individuals with a score of 570 while Anna Tomb (569) and Bailey Urbach (566) rounded out team scoring.
In air rifle, the team fired a score of 2355 led by a season best score of 592 from Anna Tomb. She was followed closely by Jacob Buchanan and Elizabeth Dutton who both fired scores of 588 and Rhiann Travis who posted a 587. Annabelle Stanec rounded out team scoring with a score of 582. Ariel Hall led the way for the individuals with a score of 587. She was followed by Michael Steinel (585) and Bailey Urbach (568) who rounded out individual scoring.
Ohio State Rifle returns to action at home against Kentucky this Sunday at the Hugh W. Wylie Range in Converse Hall.
