COLUMBUS, Ohio – Single-game tickets for Ohio State women’s basketball go on sale Monday, Nov. 3. Fans wishing to purchase single-game tickets can order by calling the Ohio State Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-GO BUCKS or 614-292-2624. Individual game tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for students or children. Additional ticket options include The Flex Plan, which costs $20 and allows Buckeye fans to create packages with four game vouchers, and Hoops N’Groups, which is the advance purchase of 10 or more tickets at $2 each. Season ticket packages are available at $76 for adults and $40 for children or students.
Last season, the Buckeyes were 14-0 in Columbus in the program’s first year under head coach Jim Foster. Returning to the lineup are two all-conference players, Caity Matter and Kim Wilburn, the 2000 Big Ten Freshman of the Year, LaToya Turner, plus three decorated high school players – Stephanie Blanton, Brandie Hoskins and Jessica Davenport – and sophomore transfer Michelle Muoz. Ohio State, which made it to the championship of the 2003 Big Ten Tournament and earned a No. 4 seed in the 2003 NCAA Tournament, plays host to Purdue, Penn State and Minnesota, to name a few, this season.
The games against Wright State Dec. 18 and vs. Northwestern Feb. 19 will take place in St. John Arena. Additionally, Ohio State and St. John Arena will play host to 2004 First- and Second-Round NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship March 20 and 22.
