COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s hockey team will open its season with an exhibition game against Western Michigan at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 in Value City Arena in the Schottenstein Center. Admission and parking will be FREE. General parking will be in Gray 3-7, with ADA parking in Scarlet 1 and 2. Doors will open at 3 p.m., with entry through the northwest and northeast rotundas. All seating will be general admission.
NCAA rules this year allow for Division 1 men’s hockey teams to have an exhibition game against other DI opponents, where in years past most exhibition games were against Canadian university teams. Statistics and results from the game vs. the Broncos will be unofficial and will not be included in 2021-22 statistics and records.
Single game, group, mini-plan and season tickets are now available for the Buckeyes’ 2021-22 campaign, with Ohio State hosting 19 regular season games. For complete men’s hockey ticket information, click HERE.
After opening the season on the road at Bentley Oct. 8-9, the Buckeyes start the home slate with games against UConn Oct. 15-16, with faceoff set for 7 p.m. for game one and 3 p.m. for game two.
