Columbus, Ohio- The Hugh W. Wylie Range will play host to the Western Intercollegiate Rifle Championships this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 22-23.

The twelfth-ranked Buckeyes will compete against  some good competition in No. 17 Akron, No. 19 Morehead State, No. 23 Rose-Hulman, Purdue, Wisconsin Oshkosh, Grand Valley State and Michigan. Ohio State is coming off of a record setting performance at the NCAA Qualifier and are looking to defend their WIRC title from last season.

Ohio State will host the 2013 NCAA Rifle Championships, March 8-10. Team selection for the Championship will take place February 20th at 5 p.m. ET. Individual selections will be announced on February 21st at 5 p.m. ET.
