ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Ohio State women’s gymnastics team posted a 195.250 at the Big Ten Championships Saturday afternoon at Crisler Center in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Buckeyes competing in the second session, tallied a ninth-place finish.

After a bye in the first rotation, the Buckeyes opened the meet with a 48.875 on bars in the second rotation. Tenille Funches earned a team-high 9.850 on the event.

Ohio State then moved to balance beam, posting a 48.200, led by Taylor Harrison’s 9.825.

After a bye in the fourth rotation, the Buckeyes tallied a 48.975 on floor exercise. Harrison and Alexis Mattern tied with team-best 9.825 scores.

The Buckeyes closed the meet with a 49.200 on vault. Harrison earned a career-best 9.900 on the event to tie for fifth.

Harrison tied her career-best 39.300 to tie for 13th in the all-around.

The Buckeyes host an NCAA Regional at 6 p.m. April 4 in St. John Arena.
