The Synchronized Swimming Gray team has a busy weekend ahead of them. The team will be traveling to Virginia to compete against the University of Richmond and College of William & Mary. The universities came in 18th and 15th, respectively, at the 2018 U.S. Collegiate National Championships after the preliminary competition.

The team had an impressive showing at their second home meet of the season that honored Jessica Beck, a former synchronized swimmer who passed away unexpectedly during her senior year at Ohio State. University of Michigan, University of Incarnate World, and Lindenwood University all visited Columbus for an exciting evening of competition.
Six incredible student-athletes were recognized for four years of dedication to the team: Wenjing Deng, Rachel Warren, Alex Meredith-LeRoux, Lane Starrett, Stephanie Thielemann, and Elizabeth Walsh. As the second Zero Waste synchro event of the year, an impressive 71.34% diversion rate was achieved. Thank you to fans and spectators who helped advance the sustainability!

Looking Forward
After this weekend, one more meet will stand between Ohio State and North Regionals. The Buckeyes will take a trip to Illinois February 23rd to visit Wheaton College to prepare.
