COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s track and field team will send a small contingent down to Cincinnati this weekend for the 2014 All-Ohio Championships.
The Buckeyes have 16 competitors scheduled to perform in the meet hosted by the University of Cincinnati. For more information on this weekend’s events see the provided links at the top of the page.

Last Time Out
The Ohio State women’s track and field team placed third overall at the LSU Battle on the Bayou Saturday afternoon in Baton Rouge, La.
Senior Ashlee Abraham was the top performer for the Scarlet and Gray, posting outstanding marks in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes. Abraham, a native of Detroit, was the runner-up in the 100 meters in a season-best time of 11.38 and the fourth-place finisher in the 200 meters in a personal-best time of 23.33.
Sophomore Alexis Franklin and freshman Aaliyah Barnes continued their outstanding starts to the outdoor season, cruising to first-place finishes in the 400-meter hurdles and 400-meter dash, respectively. Franklin posted a season-best time of 58.65 in the long hurdles, while Barnes crossed the 400-meter finish line in 53.58 seconds. Franklin’s winning time ranks seventh in Division I this season.
Ohio State dominated the 3000-meter run, claiming first and third in the event. Junior Michelle Thomas captured first place in a meet-record time of 9:43.60, while sophomore Helen Willman was third in 9:56.94.
Jesse Owens Track Classic April 18-19
