COLUMBUS, Ohio – Under new head coach Donald Anthony Jr., the Buckeyes are gearing up for a new season that is set to start at the end of the month.

Ohio State will once again host the OSU Open on Sept. 29, followed by OSU Duals on Sept. 30. The Buckeyes finished with an impressive number of wins last season in both events, which consisted of individual and team competitions.

Following the home opener, the Buckeyes will continue their season on the road with the Penn State Open in State College, Pa. These matches will take place on November 3-4.

The Buckeyes will then return home to host the Elite Invitational Duals on Nov. 17-18. Ohio State finished with a total of 290 victories over 9 teams in last year’s competition.

The next few duals for the Buckeyes will be on the road. They will compete in the St. John’s Duals on Jan. 19 in the Big Apple and will complete at the UPenn Dual Meet the next day in Philadelphia, Pa. The Northwestern Duals are scheduled for Feb. 2019 with the date and location to be determined.

The Buckeyes will travel back home to Columbus for the Midwest Championships on Feb. 23-24. Last season, the team ended the event with a first-place finish overall.

To wrap up the season, the Buckeyes will compete in the NCAA Regional Qualifiers in South Bend, Ind. on Mar. 9, for a spot in the NCAA Championships. The 2019 NCAA Championships will be located in Cleveland, Ohio on March 21-24.  The Buckeyes closed their season last year with a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships.
