WILMINGTON, N.C. – Sophomore Jessica Porvasnik has put herself into contention for a top-10 showing in the ultra-competitive Landfall Tradition field that includes 27 of Golfweek’s top-100 players. The Hinckley, Ohio native is a lone shot out of 10th place, tied for 13th at even par. As a team, the Buckeyes are slotted 15th entering the event’s final day.

Porvasnik has been steady throughout, pacing the entire tournament with 30 pars registered. She followed up an opening round 70 with a 74 in her second trip around the course. Fellow sophomore Zoe-Beth Brake is Ohio State’s next best performer thus far, earning a share of 30th place while playing as an individual. Brake (+2) shaved two strokes off her score in round two, going 74 on Friday and 72 for Saturday’s score.

Seniors Claudia Lim and Jan Chanpalangsri have contributed to the team tally in both rounds. Lim is tied for 40th on the individual leaderboard at 4-over (72-76) and Chanpalangsri comes in at plus-6 (76-74) and in a tie for 56th place.

Katja Pogacar provided a 74 in round one while Lina Aguillon got in on the team score with a 77 in round number two. Through 36 holes Pogacar ranks T-65th (+8) and Aguillon owns a piece of 88th (+14).

Ohio State is paired with Arizona and North Carolina State for Sunday’s final round. The pairing will tee it off of Hole 12 in shotgun start beginning at 8:45 a.m. ET.
