Women’s Soccer (1-2-0) | Florida Recap

  • Ohio State wrapped up its season opening road trip with a win at No. 5 Florida
  • Kayla Fisher’s goal in the 56th minute led the Buckeyes to their first win of the season
  • Goaltender Devon Kerr made four saves in the shutout, giving her 12 for her career

No. 24 Field Hockey (1-1) | No. 9 Delaware Recap | No. 8 Louisville Recap

  • The Buckeyes bounced back after a season opening loss to No. 9 Delaware to defeat No. 8 Louisville on Sunday
  • The Cardinals jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, but a goal from Courtney Daniels early in the second half cut the deficit to one.
  • With just over two minutes left in regulation Sammy Stone scored an equalizer goal to force overtime.
  • It didn’t take long for OSU to capitalize on the momentum as Esther Clotet scored the game winner just a minutes and 29 seconds into overtime.

  • After dropping a hard fought contest to open the season, the Buckeyes rallied to get new head coach Brian Maisonneuve his first win on Sunday.
  • Goaltender Parker Siegfried stopped both shots he faced in the game

Women’s Volleyball (3-0) | Albany Recap | | Ohio and Texas A&M Recaps

  • The Buckeyes opened the season in dominant fashion, picking up three wins over the weekend.
  • In the season opener with Albany the Buckeyes dropped one set, the only set they’d drop all weekend, before securing the 3-1 win.
  • On Saturday OSU wasted no time, defeating in-state rival Ohio in straight sets, and wrapping up the day with a sweep of Texas A&M
