What better way to take a break from finals during a frosty December day than warm up with a little splash of sunshine courtesy of Obie, the Orange Bowl’s official mascot.
Brutus Buckeye led Obie around campus today, stopping in to say “Hi” to some Ohio State students cramming for their final exams before winter break.
All smiles, the pair first strolled through lunch hour at the Ohio Union. Next up, it was study-buddy time at Thompson Library before the third leg to work out some steam in the Student Rec Center.
The Ohio State Buckeyes, 12-1 in 2013 and Big Ten Football Leaders Division champions, will face Clemson, 10-2, in the 2014 Discover Orange Bowl at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3 in Sun Life Stadium in South Florida.
