COLUMBUS, Ohio –Kelsey Nolan has been selected to represent Ohio State at the 2018 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game, the association announced Wednesday.
The Division I Senior Game will be held in conjunction with the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship in Louisville, Ky. on Friday, Nov. 16. The game will be played following the semifinals of the tournament at 6 p.m.
Nolan has proven to be a key part of the Buckeye lineup this season, starting all 16 games for the team. She has scored three goals this season, including the go-ahead goal in the Buckeyes’ shootout win over Rutgers. Nolan has also added four assists on the season and sits in the top-10 in the goals per game category in Big Ten play with an average of 0.50.
The captain from Lancaster, Pa. is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and Ohio State Scholar Athlete, Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, and 2017 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award recipient.
Nolan is one of five seniors who will be recognized on Friday’s Senior Day at Buckeye Varsity Field when the Buckeyes host Michigan State at 3 p.m.
