Competing as individuals, senior Daniel Chapman fired a season high 570 in smallbore while sophomore Alex Kimura posted a solid 581 in air rifle.

“It was nice to get back into competition this past weekend,” head coach Ryan Tanoue stated. “Saturday’s performance team wise definitely wasn’t our best but there were certainly some positives to take away from the match including a few solid individual performances and also being able to improve our conference record to 2-0 by defeating UTEP. Although I know the team is a bit disappointed about our performance, now is not the time for us to dwell in the past as we have a quick turn around and a huge challenge in front of us this week in terms of both travel and competition.”

Ohio State travels to Fairbanks, Alaska this weekend to compete against the Citadel Saturday and Alaska Fairbanks Sunday.
