“It was fun to be part of such a special, historical pool and involved in the final collegiate meet means a lot to our whole team and staff,” Bill Wadley, Ohio State head coach, said. “You do want to win every meet. There’s no such thing as not wanting to win. I’m really proud of our guys, there were a lot of excellent swims. Rob’s 200 breaststroke and the 400 freestyle relay were excellent races. I’m really proud of our guys for not giving away races and staying competitive the whole meet. I’m really pleased. I’m happy for our seniors, all seven seniors had great meets. It was a good way to end their season at home: to swim fast in your own pool.”

The Buckeyes hit the road for their last dual meet of the season Feb. 5 against Penn State at noon.
