COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 25 Ohio State women’s gymnastics team travels to Iowa City to face Iowa in a dual meet at 8 p.m. Saturday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

The Buckeyes improved their season-opening team score in a 196.950-195.275 defeat at No. 1(t) Michigan. The Buckeyes earned a 49.025 beam score while Taylor Harrison tied her career-best 9.900 to finish second on the event.

A LOOK AT 2016
The Buckeyes return 10 letterwinners off the 2015 NCAA Regional squad and welcome five newcomers to go along with redshirt freshman Kaitlyn Hofland, who missed all of last season with an injury.

Ohio State sits at No. 25 in the Road to Nationals rankings this week. No. 3 Michigan leads the conference, followed by No. 17 Illinois, No. 18 Nebraska and No. 19 Minnesota.

The Buckeyes also square off with preseason No. 13 Boise State Feb. 19 in Boise.

Ohio State was selected fifth in the Big Ten Preseason Coaches’ Poll, the conference office announced Dec. 10. In addition, sophomore Taylor Harrison and redshirt freshman Kaitlyn Hofland were named gymnasts to watch in the conference.

The Buckeyes were picked behind Michigan, Nebraska, Illinois and Penn State.

Season tickets, on sale now, include a ticket to each of the four home meets and are just $26 for adults and $16 for youth. Single-meet tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for youth.
