COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s basketball team hosts its fourth-consecutive game to open the 2021-22 season on Tuesday inside Value City Arena at the Schottenstein Center at 7 p.m. as the Buckeyes face Bellarmine. The game will be broadcast live on B1G+ and AM 1460.

Tickets for the 2021-22 season in Value City Arena in the Schottenstein Center are now available. Fans can purchase season tickets and mini planssingle-game tickets and group tickets. All group tickets must be bought in advance by calling 1-800-GO-BUCKS and then selecting option two.   • Ohio State was selected 21st in the Associated Press poll released on Monday, Nov. 15.
  • The Buckeyes were picked fifth in the Big Ten preseason poll on both the coach and media rankings.
  • Ohio State’s offense thrived in a 94-63 win against Bowling Green on Wednesday, shooting a season-best 56.7 percent from the floor during the game and 67.8 percent during the first half.
  • Taylor Mikesell and Rebeka Mikulášiková led the Buckeyes’ scoring with 19 points apiece while Jacy Sheldon (17) and Kateri Poole (11) each reached double figures.
  • Braxtin Miller led Ohio State in both rebounding (9) and assists (7) as the Buckeyes won the rebounding battle by a 40-26 margin.
  • Bellarmine enters the game with a 0-3 record to begin the 2021-22 season after falling to Western Illinois by a 105-82 margin on Saturday night.
  • The Knights opened the season with a 72-59 loss at Cincinnati on Nov. 12. Bellarmine then lost at No. 10 Louisville on Nov. 16 by an 82-25 margin.
  • Presley Brown leads the Bellarmine offense with 11.0 points per game this season as the team’s lone scorer averaging double figures.
  • Last season, the Knights went 5-17 overall and 5-11 in conference play. Bellarmine fell in the first round of the conference tournament by an 88-59 mark to Liberty.
  • This is the first meeting in program history between Ohio State and Bellarmine.
