Nine Golfer Named OSU Scholar-Athletes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Nine members of the men’s golf team were named OSU Scholar-Athletes for the 2019-20 season. To receive the distinction, student-athletes must carry a 3.0 or better grade-point average for the academic year.

Graduate student Jack Mancinotti leads the way by earning his fifth OSU Scholar-Athlete distinction. Justin Wick, another OSU graduate, has earned his fourth award while JonErik Alford and Kevin Stone each garnered their third award.

The program was also honored on Tuesday by receiving an NCAA Public Recognition Award. The award is given each year to teams scoring in the Top 10 percent in each sport based on their most recent multi-year Academic Progress Rates (APR).
