Cheverton Swims in 4×200 Finals – Ohio State Buckeyes

Former Buckeye standout Samantha Cheverton was part of a seventh-place effort by Team Canada in the 4×200 freestyle relay at the FINA world championships in Shanghai, China, Thursday.
The Canadians entered the finals with the second-fastest time in the preliminary heats (7:52.05) before swimming the finals in 7:53.62. Cheverton, swimming the third leg, posted times of 1:58.34 in the preliminaries and 1:58.45 in the finals.
Earlier in the week at the world championships, Cheverton placed 16th individually in the 400 free and 18th in the 200 free.
