For more than 5 years, Nationwide Children’s Hospital has provided internships, education, and resources for Ohio State student athletes who want to pursue medical school. This year, we are excited to take that to another level.
Shadowing experience is an essential component of the medical school application process, but is often challenging for student-athletes to find in a way that works with their busy schedules. We are excited to work with the doctors at Nationwide Children’s Hospital to provide a world-class shadowing experience to Ohio State student-athletes.
Through the Athletes in Medicine program, each student-athlete can now gain up to 40 hours of shadowing annually, ensuring that they are best prepared for their next step toward medical school.
