My Gameday – VFA-106 Gladiators

As the National Anthem concluded before Saturday’s military appreciation game versus Maryland, fans were treated with a pregame flyover from the United States Navy. The pregame flyover from Norfolk, Va. flying Navy F-18 Super Hornets are members of VFA-106, the United States Navy’s premier F-18 Fleet Replacement Squadron:

• Lieutenant Sean Rooks, a native of Delaware, Ohio
• Lieutenant Jeff Mayer, a native of Vermillion, Ohio
• Lieutenant Zac Sutherland, a native of Grove City, Ohio
• Lieutenant Commander Ben Kovesci, a native of Akron, Ohio and 2006 graduate of The Ohio State University
• Lieutenant Shane Brady
• Lieutenant Clark Hayes
