CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The No. 8 Ohio State University men’s gymnastics team earned multiple spots in the NCAA individual championships after a series of strong performances in the NCAA Qualifier on Friday at the State Farm Center.

Though the Buckeyes fell short in the overall team competition, a slew of Bucks earned spots in the individual championship competition on Saturday. Jesse Tyndall finished with the top overall score on the floor, while Alec Yoder notched the second-best score. Never one to disappoint on the floor, Joey Bonanno secured a spot in the championship sessions as well.

Over on the pommel horse both Yoder and Trevor Cummings earned spots in the championship. At least one Buckeye qualified for each event championship on Saturday, with Max Andryushchenko earning a spot in the rings competition, Bonanno clinching a spot on the vault, and Yoder earning spots on both the parallel bars and high bar.

The NCAA Championship session is set for a 7 p.m. ET start on Saturday, and it airs live on BTN.
