MGYM: Buckeyes Sign Three Athletes During Early Signing Period

Columbus, Ohio – Max Andryushchenko, Tristan Lopez and Sean Neighbarger have signed their National Letters of Intent and will be Buckeyes come the 2017-18 academic year.

All three athletes boast a distinctive skill set that will help Ohio State for the years to come.

“I’m really excited about our three new Buckeyes who will join our team next fall,” head coach Rustam Sharipov said. “All three of them bring different qualities to our team that will help us in the future.

“These guys have big shoes to fill, but I’m very confident that these guys will blend in just fine. All three of them are hard workers and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome them into our family.”

– Competed at the Winter Cup Challenge in 2015 and 2016
– Placed eighth on high bar and ninth in the all-around at 2015 Men’s Junior Championships
– At the 2014 P&G Championships he placed fifth on high bar and eighth on still rings
– Tied for second on floor exercise at the 2013 Men’s Junior Olympic National Championships
