COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State Men’s Tennis team took its first win of the season by defeating Toledo.%^$

In the shutout, all Ohio State’s singles competitors- Chris Porter (So., Canton, Ohio), Andrew Carlson (So., Gambrills, Md.), Derek DeFalco (So., Maumee, Ohio), Kevin Hawke (Fr., Manasquan, N..J.), Ben Basil (Sr., Upper Arlington, Ohio) and John Johansen (Jr., Dublin, Ohio) captured straight-set victories.%^$

Ohio State also captured all three doubles matches. Carlson and Basil won 8-6 in the No. 1 position and DeFalco and Johansen posted a 8-3 win at the No. 2 position. In the No. 3 position, Basil and Porter bested Eid and Bimbuain 8-4.%^$

The Buckeyes start the double header against Murray State this evening at 7 p.m. at the Racquet Club of Columbus. %^$
