Columbus, Ohio – Chris Klingemann (Jr. Bradenton, Fla./Texas Tech Independent) advanced to the third qualifying round of the All-American Tennis Championships Tuesday in Tulsa, Okla. Klingemann beat Conor Pollack of Texas A&M 7-6, 6-2.

Klingemann will face Jeremy Sonkin of Wisconsin Wednesday with the winner advancing to the main draw of the tournament, which begins Thursday.

Ross Wilson (So., Toledo, Ohio/Toledo St. Francis de Sales) was beaten by Auburn’s Alex Schweizer 6-4, 6-4.

Bryan Koniecko (Fr. Long Island, N.Y./Syosset) recorded his first collegiate loss. Georgia’s Strahinja Bobusic advanced after a 6-4, 6-0 win.

Three days of qualifying matches conclude Wednesday before the main draw of the tournament begins Thursday. The tournament is being held in Tulsa, Okla. The University of Tulsa is the host school. Matches are being played at Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
