%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio — For the second straight game John Cummings (Fr., Baltimore, Md./Loyola) recorded six points to lead the Ohio State men’s lacrosse team to a 17-6 victory over Air Force at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium Sunday. The Buckeyes even their record at 6-6 on the season and 2-2 in the GWLL, while Air Force falls to 2-10 on the season and 0-3 in the conference.%^$

%^$The Buckeyes dominated the entire first half. Ohio State scored 13 first half goals, the most in a half this season. Cummings led the charge scoring four of his six points in the first quarter.%^$

%^$In the second half, Denver saw more time on the offensive end. The Falcons outscored the Buckeyes 6-4 in the second half, including four straight in the fourth quarter.%^$

%^$Air Force was led by Nick Dipoma who scored three goals. John Agnew also contributed scoring one goal and dishing out one assist.%^$

%^$However, the balanced attack of the Buckeyes was too much for the Falcons. Ohio State used 10 different goal scorers, including five with multiple goals.%^$

%^$Buckeye goalkeeper Mike Abeles (Sr., Westfield, N.J./Westfield) played 36 minutes and recorded two saves. Ben Kochalski (So., Worthington, Ohio/Thomas Worthington) finished the last 24 minutes and recorded five saves. Air Force also split time between two goalies. Billy Arnold played the first 30 minutes and finished with three saves, while Rick Greening played the entire second half and recorded five saves.%^$

%^$The Buckeyes return to action at 1 p.m. Saturday, when they host No. 1 Virginia at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.%^$
