COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s gymnastics team earned eight Academic All-Big Ten honors, announced by conference officials Monday afternoon.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be on a varsity team enrolled full-time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.

The men’s gymnasts who have been named Academic All-Big Ten for 2020 are:
Andrew Brower (RS Jr.) – Animal Sciences
Michael Chan (RS Jr.) – Accounting
Curtis Chang (So.) – Finance
Robert Costea (Sr.) – History
Jacob Gricar (Jr.) – Studio Art
Sean Neighbarger (Jr.) – Exercise Science
Dexter Roettker (So.) – Exploration
Jesse Tyndall (So.) – Health Promotion, Nutrition and Exercise Science
Andrew Brower, Michael Chan and Robert Costea are all three-time honorees while Jacob Gricar and Sean Neighbarger are now two-time honorees. This is the first year that the sophomore class is eligible to receive a nomination.
