PEORIA, Ariz. – Caley McGinty is tied for first place after completing the first 36 holes at the Westbrook Invitational on Sunday. She shot a 70 (-2) in both rounds and goes into tomorrow’s third round four-under par, with a total score of 140.
The Buckeyes are tied for second place overall out of 14 teams; the team combined for a 286 (-2) in round one and a 288 (E) in round two for a total score of 574 (-2).
Kary Hollenbaugh also had a great day for the No. 24 Buckeyes, firing a 70 (-2) in the first round and a 71 (-1) in the second round. She is tied for sixth place with a 36-hole score of 141 (-3).
Aneka Seumanutafa is tied for 16th place. She shot even on the day (144), carding a 71 (-1) in round one and a 73 (+1) in round two.
Lauren Peter shot 75 (+3) in the first round and 74 (+2) on the second 18 holes for a score of 149 (+5). She is tied for 45th going into the final round tomorrow.
Faith Choi shot a 76 (+4) and a 75 (+3) and is tied for 59th with a total score of 151 (+7).
Jillian Bourdage, who is competing as an individual, is tied for 34th. She carded a 74 (+2) in both rounds for a 36-hole score of 148 (+4).
The third and final round tees off tomorrow morning with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. ET.
