COLUMBUS, Ohio – Henry and Jackson Leverett are both making the northward trek to attend The Ohio State University and compete for the Buckeye pistol program. Hailing from Bainbridge, Ga., the brothers carry a plethora of Team USA Shooting experience with them to Ohio’s capital city.
Both Henry and Jackson represented Team USA in 12 international pistol matches including World Cups, Junior World Cups and World Championships from 2016-19. The duo has each set four national USA Shooting records for junior men’s rapid fire and junior men’s sport pistol.
The tandem also qualified for the 2019 Pan American Games. Henry was a USA Olympic quota winner for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics by placing fifth in the ’19 World Cup in Beijing. He was a rapid fire alternate for the ’20 Olympics. Jackson assisted the United States to a pair of team gold medals at the 2018 Championship of the Americas for air pistol and rapid fire.
Henry intends to major in Biology and ultimately attend medical school while Jackson plans to major in Computer and Information Science.
