COLUMBUS, Ohio – All-American Letecia Wright was named Big Ten Athlete of the Week Wednesday by the conference after her impressive performance at the Jim Click Shootout last weekend. This is the sixth Athlete of the Week honor for the Baltimore, Md., native with her most recent being collected last week.

The senior sprinter/hurdler won the 100m hurdles with ease in 12.94, the second-fastest Division I time this season, third-fastest time in Ohio State history and a new PR for Wright. Later in the meet Wright stepped onto the track to run with her teammates in the 4x100m relay and the 4x400m relay. The 4x100m relay team brought home another first-place victory for the Buckeyes with a time of 44.70, the third-fastest time in school history. In the 4x400m relay the Scarlet and Gray finished fourth in 3:47.55.
