Ohio State men’s tennis player Kyle Seelig has been named one of five male finalists for the Big Ten Medal of Honor. The award is given each year to the top female and male senior student-athlete on each Big Ten campus.
Seelig, a Hatfield, Pa., native has been with the program since 2015. He finished his career with 127 singles victories and 46 doubles wins. Seelig was named to the 2019 ITA Indoor Championship and the 2018 NCAA All-Tournament Teams and helped lead the Buckeyes to five consecutive NCAA Round of 16 appearances. He is a three-time first team All-Big Ten honoree.
Off the court, he graduated last May with a degree in child and youth studies along with a minor in human development and family science. This year, he completed his graduate certificate in public management and through all of that, he was a two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and a five-time OSU Scholar-Athlete.
