COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University men’s golf team finished the Colleton River Collegiate shooting a six-over 294 to move to 29-over for the tournament and place 10th. Senior Felix Kvarnstrom led the Buckeyes once again, shooting 72-73-71 to finish the tournament even-par and place 15th.
Kvarnstrom capped off his tournament with a one-under 71, holing 13 pars and three birdies to earn another top finish. The senior has played great golf to open the spring season, finishing 3-0 in the Big Ten Match Play Championship, tying for 28th at the Puerto Rico Classic with a one-under 215, and now earning a top-15 finish at the Colleton River Collegiate.
Grant Engle, competing as an individual, posted the second lowest total for Ohio State, shooting 75 in the final round to take a share of 44th at eight-over par for the tournament.
Kevin Stone and Patrick Schmucking turned in the next best scores, shooting 75 and 76 respectively in the third round to come in at 11-over par and tie for 54th.
Laken Hinton finished the tournament 13-over and Jackson Chandler finished 15-over to round out the scoring.
