On March 5, Dennis was named the USTFCCCA Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year making her the first woman to earn that honor as well. She was also joined by award winnners Nick Gray (Great Lakes Track Athlete of the Year), Zack Bazile (Great Lakes Field Athlete of the Year) and Joel Brown (Great Lakes Assistant Coach of the Year.)
