Jallow Invited to USA Basketball U18 Training Camp

COLUMBUS, Ohio–Musa Jallow, who will be a sophomore on the Ohio State men’s basketball team in 2018-19, was selected as the only NCAA freshman from the 2017-18 season to participate in the USA Men’s U18 National Team Training Camp May 31-June 2, USA Basketball announced Monday.

The camp will be held at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Jallow played in 33 games as a freshman with the Buckeyes last year. He bypassed his senior year of high school at Bloomington (Ind.) North by graduating early to begin his collegiate career in 2017-18 at Ohio State.

In 14 minutes a game of playing time, Jallow averaged just under three points. He handed out 27 assists and was credited with 17 steals a year ago. He was instrumental in Ohio State’s 64-63 win at No. 3 Purdue Feb. 7 with 10 points off the bench in the win. In 13 minutes, he connected on 3 of 4 3-pointers, grabbed a rebound and recorded an assist and a steal during the win in his home state.
