Wesson Earns Second Big Ten Honor

Ohio State center Kaleb Wesson is the Big Ten Freshman of the Week after helping the Buckeyes to a pair of wins away from home last week.The Westerville, Ohio, native averaged 11.5 points and seven boards in wins at Northwestern and against Minnesota at Madison Square Garden in New York. He made 10 of 17 shots from the field (.588) including a 7-of-9 effort against the Golden Gophers.

Bates-Diop Scores 20 as No.13 Buckeyes Slip Past Nebraska

Keita Bates-Diop  scored 14 of his 20 points in the second half and No. 13 Ohio State beat Nebraska 64-59 on Monday night, the fourth victory for the surging Buckeyes in the last eight days.

Melton Named Big Ten Gymnast Of The Week

After making his 2018 debut on Saturday night in Lincoln, Neb., redshirt senior Sean Melton of the Ohio State men’s gymnastics team has been named the Big Ten Gymnast of the Week for his performance against the Cornhuskers. Melton eased his way into competition competing on three events: still rings, high bar and pommel horse. The U.S. senior national team member collected a pair of first-place finishes on the rings (15.150) and high bar (14.100).

Ryan Day Promoted to Offensive Coordinator at Ohio State

 Ryan Day, the second-year Ohio State quarterbacks coach who also was co-offensive coordinator this past season, has been promoted to offensive coordinator by Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer. Day will continue to coach the Ohio State quarterbacks and work with Kevin Wilson to lead the Ohio State offense with additional adjustments to his responsibilities forthcoming.

OSU Rifle Rewrites the Record Books at TCU

Team records were shattered over the weekend for The Ohio State University Rifle Team. The Buckeyes competed in two matches at TCU on Saturday and Sunday, breaking program records in smallbore score, aggregate score and 3-score average.
