COLUMBUS, Ohio — The $5.2 million renovation to the Harmon Family Football Practice Park is beginning to take shape outside the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Once completed, the project will give the Buckeyes a total of four outdoor practice fields, complete with lights for those cooler, evening practices.
The renovations will give the Buckeyes two FieldTurf and two natural grass surfaces. The extra artificial playing surface will especially come in handy this season as the Buckeyes aren’t scheduled to play a regular-season game on natural grass in 2010.
In the photo gallery above you will notice improvements being made around the fields, including lights, which were just added this week, and unique landscaping around the facility.
