Halliday Selected by Ottawa in 2022 NHL Draft

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Stephen Halliday, an incoming freshman forward on the Ohio State men’s hockey team, was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the fourth round of the NHL Entry Draft with the 104th overall pick.

This week, Halliday is in Ottawa at the Senators’ development camp.

Ohio State Buckeyes

A native of Glenwood, Md., Halliday played in the USHL the last four seasons, including the last three with Dubuque. He was a First team All-USHL selection in 2022 and won the Curt Hammer Award after posting 95 points with 35 goals and 60 assists. His point and assist totals both rank third all-time in USHL Tier I history for a single season.

He ended his career fifth all-time in USHL history for regular season points (215) and is the USHL Tier I all-time regular season leader in assists with 147.
