COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s and women’s gymnastics teams will be hosting a double dual meet at 4 p.m. Saturday at St. John Arena. The men, currently ranked 8th nationally will be taking on Brockport, while the women, ranked 15th nationally, face West Virginia. Saturday will be Fan Appreciation Day at St. John Arena with Valentine’s Day gifts to the first 500 fans and a team autograph session after the meet.

Under the direction of co-head coaches Doug Stibel and Blaine Wilson, the Buckeye men are coming off a solid performance at the USA Gymnastics’ Winter Cup Challenge last weekend. Junior Ty Echard finished second on pommel horse with a two-day total of 29.95 while freshman Jeff Treleaven tallied a fifth-place finish on vault with a two-day score of 31.600.

The women’s gymnastics team, led by seventh-year head coach Carey Fagan, is coming off a season-best 195.575 team score at No. 25 Denver last Friday. Freshman Sarah Miller won the event title on beam with a career-high 9.900 while tying for second on floor at 9.800 and third on vault with a career-best 9.875.
